It was clear that the service staff were also preparing drinks so whilst there was a cocktail menu available, they were limited to the pre-mixed variety available via machine. The speed at which the utensils and crockery were replaced testimony to the training and preparation. The desert bar was well stocked and a chocolate lovers delight. There was section devoted to fruits, another to cheeses and small goods and while the meat was well presented it was not the cuts I prefer. The seafood was plentiful and fresh, the sushi/sashimi a highlight, the Asian section was exotic but somewhat mild, despite a warning with the chicken wings. nor did the quality of the food disappoint. Whilst crowded and robust, there was no shortage of variety. We had been to other restaurants in the precinct but this buffet had been recommended by our son so we were eager to try it. It was exciting to visit the new facility at Crown.
